First year student, middle-aged, started from scratch in May -24 (single, trivial <1k experiments earlier). Very much still paying for my tuition. Some speculation for the sake of fun. Interests: fundamental analysis, macroeconomics, rational decision making, effective charity.
As of Jan-Feb 2025 was having fun with speculative trading on techno stocks. Risk realized, some reallocations.
Aims: (1 year) High risk tolerance. To learn to apply basic FA and valuation methods. To not lose to a savings account, counting for risk. (2-5 years) Medium to high risk. To build a stable, preferably passive portfolio focusing on dividends. To find the dividend stocks I want to hold. To keep within 80% of index performance. (5-15 years) Medium risk. To keep up with the index on average. To reach 500k. (20-30 years) Medium risk. To reach 1M. To survive. To make a will for descendants in case.
