  • A competitor, Move About (Ticker: MOV), just announced that profitability is around the corner. That has major implications for GREENM as an investment case... First perspective: 'path to profitability' MOV guides profitability on a month/month cash basis at the end of 2022, and full year profitability from 2023. This CEO guidance comes on the back of continued strong growth: 80-90% per year. In addition, MOV is implementing a cost reduction program which reduces cost base by 30+%, effective from Q4-22. The stage is set! MOV is on the 'path to profitability' in the near future, and will deliver *strong and profitable growth* in 2023.
    I Agree that if the next quarters shows that they can deliver on their plan then they should clearly have a higher valuation however they need to do this first. I have seen plenty of IPOs of small companies where they promise a lot only to fail miserably so in general I add a large amount of risk to any very ambitious business plan from newly listed companies. Once they start to prove themselves by actually achieving what they have guided this risk is reduced for each quarter. To me MOV is an extremely high risk investment which does have a large upside IF they manage to deliver on a plan that is considerably more ambitious than the one they IPO'ed with recently. (And I have to ask myself why they did not use this for the IPO - it seems like a very bad way to achieve value for their pre-IPO investors unless it was deemed to unrealistic for the scrutiny that is supposed happen in the IPO face). On the other hand GREENM have clearly proven that they can deliver surplus in several cities and a very high growth rate by now. Should they not be able to secure additional funding at reasonable conditions they could stop the rapid expansion and turn profitable in a few years. Once they mature a city they expect to be able to make a surplus of about 4000 dkr pr car pr month. With about 1500 cars this amounts to 72 Mdkr/year. Their current cash reserve should allow them to get more cars than that however lets just ignore that for now. Subtracting some extra headquarter costs and taxes and using a P/E of 14 would give a value of 600-700 Mdkr. Yes that is only a factor 2 above the current level however it is in a very pessimistic scenario. The similar pessimistic scenario for MOV (no new funding, no more expansion) would make that company go bankrupt. I am certainly not saying that this is going to happen just that in my opinion the risks og MOV are much higher than for GREENM.
  • I have had a look at another mobility/car-sharing company listed on NASDAQ First North (Stockholm): Move About Group AB (Ticker: MOV). Background I: Feb '22 IPO was botched, the share is down 70%, and MCAP is currently only 77 MSEK.
    Thank you for making us aware of MOV. It is always good to know the competitors of your investments and I for one did not know MOV. It is certainly an interesting case however there are also several factors in favour of GREENM: I do have some hesitation when new companies in the stock market/new leadership promises dramatically improved business for a company. Not that they are bound to fail however I do like to see them price that they can deliver in several consecutive reportings before I give it to much credit. In this case I do though think it is possible that MOV will manage at least part of their goal since GREENM have already done something similar.
  • Rigtig fornuftigt regnskab: - På eller lidt bedre end en guidance på alle punkter, heriblandt 79 % vækst på omsætning. Hvis Green Mobility når deres mål de næste år burde selskabet blive markant mere værd (mine beregninger siger 4-8 gange mere værd).
  • Sektoren som GreenMobility befinder sig i vil med garanti vokse, men det vil konkurrencen også. Var i Berlin i efteråret, og der så jeg mindst 3-4 andre delebilskoncepter. Allerede i dag er ShareNow meget større og mere udbredt end GreenMobility. Sha
